El Amparo Ron Equatorial is an exceptional pure single rum from Ecuador, crafted by third-generation distiller Carlos Baque Zorrilla in the city of Jipijapa, Manabí province. Made from the rare Cubana Negra sugar cane, this rum is produced using traditional, sustainable methods, including hand-harvested cane and natural week-long fermentation. Distilled in a small alambique column and bottled at pot-still proof, El Amparo boasts a vibrant, expressive profile. The nose is filled with vernal tropical fruits, while the round palate offers a complex mix of sweet and savory notes, including hints of olive.
